  Bishop Barry

Bishop Barry Jones was born in Rangiora, North Canterbury and ordained to the priesthood in 1966.

He has served in appointments in Timaru North, the Cathedral in Christchurch, the Christchurch Hospital chaplaincy, St. Mary’s & Sacred Heart Colleges chaplaincy, Greymouth, Akaroa, Sockburn, and Riccarton.  He was ordained as bishop in October, 2006.
  Mate Mate Tangitu is of Ngāti Awa, Tuwharetoa, Te Arawa and Ngati Ranginui descent and
represents the Hamilton Diocese. She resides in Awakaponga, Matata. Mate is a member of Nga Wahine I Roto I Te Wairua Tapu, a Catholic group of women who assist the needy. She is also Secretary of Te Ahi Kaa O Te Wairua Tapu, which consists of representatives of the Maori parishes within the Hamilton Diocese.
  Areti

Areti Metuamate of Ngati Kauwhata, Ngati Raukawa and Waikato-Tainui is the National Secretary for the Runanga.

He has been a member since 2003 and is based in Wellington.

  Sr Tui Sister Tui Cadigan RSM, M THeol. (Hons) affiliates to Waitaha, Kati Mamoe, Poutini Kai Tahu Iwi. She is a Sister of Mercy and a member of Te Kahui o Te Ariki - Maori Priests and Religious. She is Kaiwhakahaere of her hapu runanga - Te Runanga o Makaawhio. Her ministries include advisor to Child Youth and Family Services, Maori Pastoral Care Worker and Kaiwhakamana - cultural support to prisoners and the Justice Department.
  Danny K

Danny affiliates to Ngati Maniapoto, Ngati Kinohaku, Ngati Whatua, Te Rarawa, Ngapuhi iwi. Danny is currently a Rūnanga executive member and treasurer. Appointed by Bishop Peter Cullinane of Palmerston North he has been a delegate to the Rūnanga for 5 years. He is currently a Bishops Assistant and has responsibility for sacramental and catechetical formation with a special responsibility to Māori and for Pastoral Care in the Diocese of Palmerston North. He is a member of the diocesan Liturgy Commission and convenes the Bi-cultural subcommittee. He and his whänau reside in Halcombe, Feilding and he is on the St Brigids Parish Pastoral Council, and
is the katekita and minita-a-iwi for the people in his takiwā.

  Richard Puanaki Richard Puanaki, representing Palmerston North Diocese, and his tribal affiliations are Ngati Kahungunu/Ngai Tamanuhiri. He is currently Principal/DRS (Director of Religious Studies), St Joseph's School, Wairoa. He is also Chairperson, Tawhiti a Maru Catholic Marae, Wairoa; a member of the Parish Council, St Peter's Parish, Wairoa; and the Youth Co-ordinator of St Peter's Parish, Wairoa.
