Bishop Barry Jones was born in Rangiora, North Canterbury and ordained to the priesthood in 1966. He has served in appointments in Timaru North, the Cathedral in Christchurch, the Christchurch Hospital chaplaincy, St. Mary’s & Sacred Heart Colleges chaplaincy, Greymouth, Akaroa, Sockburn, and Riccarton. He was ordained as bishop in October, 2006. |
